Maxima Rapida distills the luminous intensity of our flagship models into a featherlight, backpack-ready form: 1.8 kg and 31 cm long, enabling you to switch between photo and video anywhere, without compromise.

Battery-First, Workflow-Centric
Whether powered by V‑Mount batteries or AC, Rapida delivers the same pristine Maxima-grade output. Switch between grid and battery in under 5 seconds—no adapters, no ballast, no downtime.

Precision, Efficiency & Durability

Thanks to Maxima’s patented thermal-management system, Rapida delivers class-leading efficiency (~850 lm/W), supporting extended run-times on battery while reducing energy consumption and environmental impact. The IP54-rated body, made of composite non-conductive materials, ensures reliability in harsh environments. All the materials and components of Maxima are manufactured in a zero-waste industrial process completely carried out here in Italy, which also allows re-circulation of components after end-of-life.

Universal Accessory Compatibility
Rapida supports direct mounting of Profoto® accessories and compatibility with Bowens® and other popular light modifiers. Its 13-point cheese plate and integrated PivotMount 2.0 allow seamless rigging with boom arms, stands, mini-tripods, and various accessories.

Studio-Grade Output Anywhere

Rapida brings full mobility without sacrificing the core features of our flagship fixtures. With an efficacy of 115 lm/W, it operates for nearly an hour at full power on a single 145 Wh V-Mount battery — offering studio-level output, wherever you are.

• 23,000 lumens output
• 99 TLCI color accuracy
• 115 lm/W luminous efficacy
• ~850 lux at 1 m (with Maxima Fresnel in spot mode)

Developed in Collaboration with Professionals
Rapida was designed through ongoing dialogue with filmmakers, photographers, and cinematographers worldwide. It’s already recognized by industry professionals as a flexible and dependable tool for demanding productions — built to keep up, shoot after shoot.

Powering Rapida with a V-Mount Battery – What You Need to Know

To get the best performance out of your Maxima Rapida, it’s essential to choose the right V-Mount battery. For standard 14.8V batteries, make sure they can deliver at least 10 Amps of constant current (also called “continuous load”). If you’re using a 26V battery, it should provide at least 8 Amps. This constant current value—not just the peak or max load—is what ensures the lamp runs smoothly and safely, even as the battery discharges.

Using a battery that falls below these requirements may cause the light to malfunction or even damage the unit and the battery itself. You can usually find this information (constant current or continuous load) in your battery’s datasheet or user manual. If unsure, check our list of recommended batteries or contact Maxima support to verify compatibility.
