Access to and use of this site are subject to the following terms and conditions and all applicable laws. Please review these terms and conditions periodically, as they are subject to modification, alteration or update at the sole discretion of STEPHANIE MCNEIL CORPORATION. If you do not agree to any term or condition, you should not use this site.

Pricing, Shipping, Duties and Taxes

One Price. No Surprises. Delivered to Your Door. Nothing More to Pay. Transportation, import duties, brokerage and local taxes included.

For products purchased directly from MAXIMA LED America, the total displayed at checkout or confirmed in a written quotation is the complete delivered price.

Standard transportation, import duties, tariffs, customs-clearance charges, brokerage fees and applicable local sales taxes are included. The customer will not be required to pay a courier, customs authority or another third party any additional delivery-related amount.

A tariff discount or other pricing adjustment may appear at checkout. This forms part of the calculation of the complete delivered price and does not create an additional amount payable by the customer.

If a courier or customs authority requests an additional payment for transportation, import duties, tariffs, brokerage, customs clearance or local sales taxes, the customer should not make the payment. The customer should contact MAXIMA LED America at info@maximaledamerica.com or (647) 879-7837 and provide a copy of the payment request. MAXIMA LED America will work directly with the carrier to resolve it.

If another statement on this website conflicts with this section concerning transportation, import duties, brokerage or applicable local sales taxes, this section will govern.

Caution, Hazards and Intended Use

Please read all product documentation and the applicable instruction manual before receiving, setting up, handling or operating the product.

This product is intended for use by professionals in a studio or location environment. It is not recommended for use by hobbyists or in a household environment with low ceilings or carpeted floors.

It is your responsibility to protect yourself from injury, use the product as intended and share the applicable instructions and safety information with co-workers who may receive, assist with or operate the product.

Carpeted, uneven or pitted surfaces are not recommended because increased rolling resistance can cause the lighting stand to tip over.

If the surface is not ideal, lower the light to waist level before moving the lighting stand. Move the stand slowly and carefully, using both hands—one at the top and the other at the bottom—to steady it and prevent it from tipping over.

We also recommend using a sandbag or weight attached to the base when conditions are not ideal. A short tether cable should be used to secure the light to the lighting stand in the event that the light or mounting attachment comes loose or fails.

Do not expose the light to direct sunlight or water.

Ultimately, it is the user’s responsibility to understand how the lighting stand operates and to use it within its specification limits and as intended. The user is responsible for their own safety, the safety of others and the safety of their equipment.

By purchasing products, you agree to use the products at your own risk and release STEPHANIE MCNEIL CORPORATION from liabilities resulting from receiving or using the products. You agree to waive rights of claim against STEPHANIE MCNEIL CORPORATION to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You and your co-workers agree not to hold STEPHANIE MCNEIL CORPORATION or its affiliates liable for injury or damage resulting from receiving, lifting, unboxing, setting up or using the product, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The content of this site and printed product documentation may include technical inaccuracies or typographical errors for which STEPHANIE MCNEIL CORPORATION assumes no responsibility.

Limitation of Liability

This agreement, and any dispute arising from or related to this website, shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any legal action regarding this agreement or this website shall be brought in the provincial or federal courts located within the City of Toronto, Ontario. By using this site, you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Integration

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and STEPHANIE MCNEIL CORPORATION and supersedes any prior oral or written agreements, understandings or communications between the parties.

Refund Policy

Please review our published Return and Refund Policy.

Certain products, because of their size and specific packaging and handling requirements, may be sold as “non-returnable” or “final sale.” Refer to the applicable product page for this information before purchasing.

For other products, please contact MAXIMA LED America at info@maximaledamerica.com to arrange an eligible return. Please include a copy of your original invoice or your order number.

Do not return a product without first receiving return authorization and shipping instructions from MAXIMA LED America.
